At the monthly meeting in July, we learned
the chairman’ s speech and the president’ s work report. The chairman shared
the work reviews in the first half of 2021 and future prospects of each
business sector, so that we can have a more complete understanding of the
strategic planning and current implementation of the entire company. During the
meeting, both the Chairman and the President mentioned two important corporate
cultures——pragmatic and innovative. The core values of our
company are pragmatic, innovative, inclusive and win-win. Only by steadily
implementing these values step by step, can we be ready to respond quickly and
cooperate in the face of major opportunities and challenges in the future.
Pragmatic means being practical in doing things, everything from the reality, which is based on the actual status of the company, and dealing with problems in work with a developing perspective. In the semi-annual work report of 2021, the President put forward 20 pragmatic behaviors and evalsuations in practical work. He described the pain points of existing problems and the direction of solving problems in the aspects of team goal setting, decision-making execution, decision-making adjustment, problem analysis, challenge mining, team training, process management, review and so on. It is of great significance to both organizations and individuals, and is very necessary for reference, self-reflection, in-depth excavation and learning.
One of the above mentioned is quite
impressive to me that the superior and subordinate should have the habit of
benchmarking in their work. Adequate communication is the guarantee of
effective authorization. Only when people understand your expectations can they
accept responsibility and take action. In actual work, if an employee thinks
that he understands the instructions he received, but actually he starts to
implement without understanding. The direction is wrong, the difference is a
thousand miles, the path has been yawed, and the result must be biased. For
your superiors, you have not achieved the results he wanted, while for your
subordinates, the efforts they made have gone in the wrong direction and lost their
value. No matter how hard you work in this process, choosing the right
direction is more important than blind efforts. The superior also needs to track
and confirm the subordinates' work after arranging their task, so as to ensure
that the subordinates have accepted the instruction completely, and correct any
deviation in time to ensure the accurate achievement of the result. I think the
daily, weekly and monthly reports we fill in everyday are just one of the
functions. In the future work, we should apply these good habits to practical
work. The biggest obstacle to changing habits is the habits themselves. Don't
give up the change just because you don't get used to it at first. As time goes
by, the value these good habits bring you will be beyond your imagination.
Writing learning experience is both an output and an input. Every speech made by the chairman and president can help us obtain some new knowledge from it, whether it is the change of ideas or the change of working habits. I think it is also the significance of this speech. They set an example, sum up and reflect on their past work, and extract some good ideas and experiences, hoping to share them with the staff in order to make progress together, continuously improve our comprehensive ability and contribute to the future development of the whole company. We should always keep an empty-cup mentality, constantly draw energy from self-study, reflect on ourselves, follow the footsteps of our company and grow together with our company.
